First ever Public Vote at the UK Picture Editor Guild Awards now open.

For the first time ever in the event’s history, the UK Picture Editor Guild Awards will now be hosting a public vote. Vote for your winning image in the IMAGO Photograph of the Year Award now.

Berlin, Germany - September, 2022. The awards judging panel of esteemed Picture Editors have selected the final portfolios but the winner will be decided upon in the first public vote. 

IMAGO are proud to be sponsoring the first publicly decided award titled, Photograph of the Year with the focus laid entirely on the image - also a first at the Guild Awards. In support of photographers and journalists around the world, the leading German photography agency are pleased to be a part of the esteemed event, who’s inception dates back to 1977, as well as a part of its future by sponsoring the newest award.

Invited to select their winning image from a selected shortlist, via a simple registration, the public will also be in with the chance to win two return flight tickets from Berlin to New York as sponsored by Norse Airways.

Returning this year composed of 13 awards, the judging panel was formulated by industry heavy weight, Ray Wells and comprises top names including Fiona Shields, Head of Photography for the Guardian and Shazad Ahmed of Sky News. 

Set to be held at the Honourable Artillery Company HQ in London on October 17, the winners will be presented out of hundreds of entries at the celebrated event in front of special guests and invitees from across the industry. IMAGO are proud to be in attendance and working with the Awards as the newest Sponsorship addition.
