As a Berlin-based company, IMAGO is honored to support one of the world’s most prestigious film festivals and contribute to fostering creativity and collaboration within the international filmmaking and documentary community.

Norman Koblitz, IMAGO’s Sales Manager specializing in the DACH region and responsible for Business Development and National Film & TV Licensing, expressed his excitement about the partnership: “I am proud that IMAGO is presenting itself at the EFM during the Berlinale and that we, as a 'neighbor,' can participate in this fantastic event through our sponsorship. I am particularly looking forward to exciting discussions – be it at the Archive Market, the subsequent Apéro Happy Hour, or the DocLunch. Let’s create new, great business relationships together.”

Key Highlights of IMAGO’s Sponsorship Activities

Presence at the Archive Market and co-host of the Archive Market Apéro
IMAGO will have a booth at the Archive Market, held at the Documentation Center Flight, Expulsion, Reconciliation in Berlin. This annual event is a central meeting point for professionals working with archive material. It offers personal advice, panel discussions and expert guidance.

At the end of the event, the EFM and IMAGO invite you to the Archive Market Apéro at happy hour to round off the evening in a relaxed atmosphere.

Co-hosting of the EFM DocLunch

This year's focus country, Spain, is the main host of the EFM DocLunch. The Film- und Medienstiftung NRW will also be co-hosting the event alongside IMAGO. The EFM DocLunch, which has been successfully established for several years and, as the most important networking event for documentary filmmakers, forms the crowning finale of the Doc activities at the European Film Market, will take place in the impressive Spiegelzelt directly at the Gropius Bau.

This exclusive event brings together over 150 guests from the international documentary film industry.

These include selected documentary talents whose projects have been nominated for the Doc Station at Berlinale Talents, various documentary filmmakers from this year's festival program, as well as leading representatives of the industry.

IMAGO Champions the Documentary Industry

Through this sponsorship, IMAGO reaffirms its commitment to supporting storytellers worldwide. By providing access to its extensive archive of images and videos, IMAGO empowers creatives to bring their visions to life and strengthens connections between filmmakers, production companies, and other industry professionals.
