IMAGO partners with UK Picture Editors Guild Awards and presents 'Photograph of the Year' award

Berlin, Germany, 04. July 2023: IMAGO is delighted to once again partner with the UK Picture Editors Guild Awards and to present the award for "IMAGO Photograph of the Year".
First launched in 2022 by IMAGO and the Picture Editors Guild, the "IMAGO Photograph of the Year"-award was the first to be voted on by the public.

The awards are held by the UK Picture Editors Guild, which was founded in 1977 by picture editors from national and regional British newspapers. This year there are 12 award categories, ranging from Business Photographer of the Year and Canon Sports Photographer of the Year to Sony National Newspaper Photographer of the Year and IMAGO Photographer of the Year, among others.

IMAGO is pleased to support the Guild and recognise the important work of photographers.

For the IMAGO Photograph of the Year Award, 20 favourites will be selected from the photographers' submissions by a jury and the public can vote for the winner via online voting. Photographers can only submit one image at a time. 
The deadline for photographers is 09 July. 
From 01 August 2023, public online voting for the "IMAGO Photographer of the Year" award will begin. 
All press photographers based in the UK and Northern Ireland can take part. 
The entry fee is 30 pounds. Photographers may enter more than once in as many categories as they wish (except IMAGO Photograph of the Year).
For all categories, photographs must have been taken between 1 January 2022 and 31 December 2022.
