Based in Amsterdam but globe-trotting with Formula 1, Micheal Potts joins IMAGO's motor-sport coverage.
Michael Potts is in his fifth season photographing Formula 1, focusing on dramatic moments, creative compositions and portraits that tell a story. Storytelling is at the heart of his images, always pushing to let the viewers feel part of the sport and all the action that comes with Formula 1.
With most of this season’s races on his calendar, his busy schedule also allows him to travel the world and adapt to the different settings and environments he is thrown into. He especially looks forward to the Singapore Grand Prix which will present him with an exciting photographic challenge being a night-race.
Not only does he cover the races, Potts is everywhere – capturing all that goes into Formula 1, from the preparations to the victory champagne.
