Santiago, Chile-based Claudio Abarca Sandoval is a professional photographer trained in photojournalism.
Starting out in photography in 2011, while several student protests were taking place in Chile. After studying photography and improving his skills, he continued working visually on various topics of social interest and news relevance, which led him to collaborate with various media such as: NewZulu (Canadá), Citizenside (France) and NurPhoto agency (Italy).
Claudio has also published his work in various media such as: The Guardian, Deutsche Welle, El País, CNN, BBC. Among others.
Covering diverse topics, but mainly news, social conflicts and human rights.
