Derek French is an editorial photographer based in the Northeastern United States. His coverage extends from breaking news to sports imagery.
His journey started in 2020 documenting healthcare worker celebrations outside of hospitals.
He was soon brought on as a photojournalist for NYC Protest Coverage, the primary social media reporting hub on all civil rights protests within New York City during and after the pandemic.
International conflicts would soon become his focus, covering protests on Palestine, the Ukraine War, the Tigray civil war, and the Armenia/ Azerbaijan conflict.
