Enzo Santos Barreiro based in Uruguay covers sports in his home country with a focus on football.
The young sports photographer is bringing more South American sports content to IMAGO, covering both national and international competitions taking place in Uruguay, particularly football.
While Uruguay may be a small country, it is the homeland of many world-renowned athletes – a glance at Enzo’s archive and one cannot miss the former La Liga champion Luis Suárez, who brought Atlético de Madrid to victory in the 2020-21 season, and has returned to Uruguay with Club Nacional.
Now with IMAGO, Enzo will be covering competitions including the Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, Eliminatorias FIFA, Eliminatorias FIBA, and the Campeonato Uruguayo de Fútbol.
