Karsten Klama reports for daily newspapers, magazines, and various companies in northwestern Germany.
He studied photojournalism and documentary photography at the University of Hanover. The German Federation of Journalists awarded him the press photo of the year in 2013 and he also won in the Country & People competition in 2016 and 2019.
Klama covers politics and economy, street photography, travel and aerial shots in Bremen and throughout northwestern Germany, along with fairs, Breminale, Freimarkt, Bremer Samba-Karneval and La Strada.
