Melina Wilczek is a press photographer who covers politics and culture in Germany.
Even during her school years, Melina Waliczek photographed everything that caught her eye. Her photography focuses especially on authentic and close snapshots to convey a direct sense of mood in her images.
Starting out with a focus in marketing in 2017, she brought this knowledge to photography in 2020 and began to work as an independent photographer. After a long time photographing for private clients, she took the leap into press photography to discover new topics and methods in her work.
Melina recently covered the Berlin Fashion Week, as well as Chancellor Olaf Scholz’s visit to the military training base in Bergen, and German Defense Minister Christine Lambrecht’s summer tour.
